Hi,

I found this entry in my yahoo notepad:

June 30 2008
Forget about the details of whatever you're thinking about or working on today -- you can take care of them later! It's a good time for you to try to get ahead with some grand scheme that's been a dream.

I was very glad to read it after a while, I thought you would like it too!

A brief insight into an employee's feelings
Saturday, October 11, 2008, 07:49 AM - Think
Hi There,

Sorry for the too Heavy subject line, but I thought It would be great if I post my mail sent to my colleagues to share my feelings after completion of my year at Avi Electronics & Networks; So, that it may give a brief idea of an employees feeling for those who might be interested such as: HR guys, employers etc.

Some of the things in the mail apply to all the organizations out there and some things apply specifically to Avi Electronics & Networks.

So without further ado, here is the mail:

Subject:
Enjoying Avi!

Dear All,

I am very glad to say that, I just completed my year being in the family of Avi. On this occasion I would like to share my feelings with you all. There are a lot of things I gained and lost on personal accounts in this period.

Lost? Yes, Lost! Such as, since my childhood I always liked to speak, to be at podium just to say something in public. Since the day my professional career started I just missed that thing which started pinching and increasing my depression on these sides. But, when I joined Avi, I've got many chances to deliver presentations, trainings etc and the depression is lost!

It's not that there are only negative things I've lost, I've lost the ability to give the quality time to the friends (Yes, friends. Not acquaintances) from my earlier organizations. Maybe, I can not join the full time courses now etc. I don't understand how can I restrain myself from traveling around and making joy trips or having trek exertions. I don’t understand how can I work on things which I don’t feel like are technologies in first place! Many times, I had to work on things which I thought were not challenging or uninteresting which later turned out to be like experiences that will improve you whether you like it or not!

But, the gains… they are important too. As usual (a sentence which has lost its meaning because of abundant usage, but try to correlate with that.): I have got new friends!

I have got a more understanding of the wider picture of I.T. infrastructure, a variety of different devices which were a novelty for me in past. I got to learn new things (One more overused statement). I got to travel those places in India which otherwise I would have been incapable of or uninterested of. I also got in touch with great many people with altogether different virtues, moods, personalities and views. The most amazing thing was to know that how people from different professions, territories, economical slabs or any other discriminations vary in thinking.

In all, it was a year of happening, change, unpredictability, learning and enrichment. The things I always sought for... personally and in profession.

Also, I may have hurt or helped you a lot many times in those days (don’t try to weigh though). But hey... isn’t it the bedrock of relationships? I hope, to build on that…

Thanks for bearing with me guys,

I hope, we will keep on bearing each other anyhow, anyways, forever...

Yours,

Aniruddha

Enjoy Along the path, not at the end!

Thats it fellows, the mail ends there. Hope, you may have found interesting / useful.

The Spectacular Place I Visited
Monday, August 18, 2008, 01:15 PM - Think
It may seem very idiotic if I say the spectacular place I visited was my own terrace!
It was after a long while I could get a fresh breath of air in an early morning enchanted with the glorious seven horses lead chariot of the sun.
It was just an amazing view, I could not expect it to be so near to me and still be unavailable only because of my ignorance. I was thinking about it and a flash lit my heart with a great spirit of the thought, "Beauty is in the eyes of Beholder!" and since then, every place I visit is spectacular!

PS: One of my friends wanted me to write about a spectacular place I visited in hundred words and I wrote the above.

Ask Yourself!
Saturday, January 5, 2008, 04:37 PM - Think
Hi all there are a few good questions that one should ask himself...

Defining Goals

10. What would be the biggest impact from achieving your goal(s)?

Action Stations

22. What research could you do to help you find the first (or next) step?
23. Who could you talk to who would illuminate this issue?
24. Who should you be hanging out with – so that achieving this goal becomes natural? (i.e. who’s
already doing it?)
25. How can you get the knowledge/ information you need?
26. What are three actions you could take that would make sense this week?
27. On a scale of 1 to 10, how excited to you feel about taking these actions?
28. What would increase that score? (e.g. handle fear, clearer steps, more support, more fun)
29. What would Tony Robbins do in this situation? What would 'massive action' look like?
30. What will happen (what is the cost) of you NOT doing anything about this?
Gaining New Perspectives
31. What can you learn from this?
32. In what way is the current situation absolutely perfect?

Has anybody seen captain Corelli's Mandolin
Monday, May 21, 2007, 08:58 AM - Think
It was a great movie, somehow I found this quote from the film and felt it should be produced. Its a perfectly practical view towards "What is love?"

The quote:-

Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are.
Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.

Realization
Friday, December 1, 2006, 09:04 AM - Think

Others showed me the world;
"What's the truth, I was told";

I had to realize it, for myself;
It's not easy as picking off the shelf.

Life
Tuesday, November 28, 2006, 10:08 AM - Think

Since the time when human beings were able to figure out the phenomenon of Death, and its bound to happen in everyonesLife in once and for all; we have tried to find out, "What does it really mean by life?".

Whatever the cause I was compelled to write this article; Its the time to show that I am among human, those beings who are puzzled by mysteries of life, those who think.

So, whats life then? Don't we be precise, when we say that "Life is the time period between the birth and death of a living being"?

But is it "The Life" when we are referring to it as Life? No way! Then what could be it? Yes, Let us take this way:
When we ask a person who is about to die in ,say a few days that, "Tell me something about your life". What does he / she answer?
Is it the time period he / she is talking about? Yes, sure. But is he / she talking in terms of yyyy mm dd hh mm ss? No again!
He / she is interested in talking about the way the person has spend the time period. The achievements, failures, intense momnts in the persons life is the Life when we refer to "Life".
Haven't you found a great key to Live More in Less? Yesss... We can live more life in less time by increasing intense moments, by having a concentrated zest in whatever things we are involved in. By having the full extracts of joys and sorrows as if mother tinctures. Having taken to peaks of emotions of that particular events to make it an intense one. Having increased chances of failures by risking for glorious achievements.

Yes, I'm gonna do that for both. My Life and Death. I have always made my life happening, intense, exciting and I am bound to do so about my death too! No, I am not going to die in a foolish manner, I love life than anything else but still I will make my life a memorable one by a Memorable Death.
